Features

Everything a workshop needs, and nothing a tradie's CRM bolted on.

Twelve things, each built for the floor. Every one is included in the one plan.

Retention

Service reminders by SMS and email

The cheapest customer to win is the one who already trusts you. Mech Central works out when each car is due from the last service and the interval on the menu, then sends the reminder for you — by text, by email, or both — with the car's rego in it so the owner knows exactly which car you mean.

Vehicles

Vehicles, rego and service history

A workshop's real asset is what it knows about the cars it looks after. Mech Central gives every vehicle a profile — rego, make, model, build year, engine code, odometer — with the full history underneath: services, quotes, invoices, inspections, photos and the things you told the owner to keep an eye on.

How it works →

Invoicing

Invoices with rego, odometer and photos

A mechanic's invoice has to do more than ask for money. It has to say which car, at what kilometres, what was done, what it cost in parts and labour, and — increasingly — prove it. Mech Central invoices do all of that on one page, sent as a link the customer can open, pay and keep.

How it works →

Quoting

Quotes the customer approves online

A quote is a decision waiting to happen. Mech Central builds it fast — your rates, your parts, your standard wording — and sends it as a link the customer can approve from their phone. The moment they accept, it is an invoice with the car's details already on it.

The day

Bookings and today's board

Every workshop has a morning question: what is in, what is waiting, what is ready? Mech Central answers it on one screen. Bookings arrive from your public page or the phone, each car moves through the day, and nothing is lost because it did not have a job number yet.

How it works →

Inspections

Vehicle inspections and reports

An inspection is a document the customer pays for. Mech Central makes it one worth paying for: itemised pass, fail and advisory results with photos, every tyre's tread and condition, the car's service history and any fault codes, delivered as a report link that prints cleanly to PDF.

How it works →

Service Menu

Log book service menu

Every workshop sells the same dozen services a hundred times a year. Mech Central seeds them — log book intervals, oil and filter, brake fluid flush, diagnostic, road test, battery, tyre fitting — with honest starting prices you edit once. Each service knows how long it takes, when it is next due, and which service follows it.

How it works →

Pricing

Parts memory and labour rates

The fastest quote is the one you have already written. Mech Central remembers your labour rates, the parts you fit every week with their cost and RRP, and the engines they suit — then lets you type shorthand and get a priced line.

How it works →

Online presence

Your workshop web page and booking form

Plenty of good workshops have no website, or one that has said 'under construction' since 2019. Mech Central builds a page from what it already knows — your name, colours, logo, services, hours — and puts a booking form on it. Enquiries land in your Bookings list.

How it works →

Getting started

Import your customers from Excel

The list is the business. Whether it is an Excel sheet, an export from your old system or a CSV from your accounting software, Mech Central reads it — names, numbers, emails, regos, makes and models — and turns it into contacts and vehicles you can search by plate.

How it works →

Team

Team logins, unlimited

Per-user pricing punishes the workshop for growing. Mech Central is one flat price for the whole shop: invite as many people as you like, give each their own login, and decide who can see prices and profit.

How it works →

Trust

Before and after photos on the invoice

Customers fear being ripped off. The worn brake pad next to the new one, on the invoice, is the fastest way to remove that fear. Mech Central attaches photos to jobs, inspections and invoices, compresses them on the phone and shows the ones you choose on the customer's page.
