How it works

Rates seeded
Standard, apprentice and after-hours labour rates are seeded ($135, $100 and $180 as starting points) and editable in Settings.

Parts remembered
Save a part with its number, aliases, supplier, cost, sell price, category and the make, model or engine it fits.

Shorthand in, lines out
Type '5-30' and get 5W-30; '17-40' stays a part number. Oil grades are matched against real SAE grades, not any pair of digits.

See the margin
Cost and RRP per part line; profit on parts totalled in the quote summary — visible only to you.
The details
Vehicle context boosts suggestions rather than filtering them: a generic oil filter still shows when a ZD30 is on the hoist; a part saved for a different engine is demoted, never hidden.
Categories: Parts, Tyres, Workshop charges — they land in the right section of the quote.
A part with RRP but no cost still prices correctly on the customer's document.
Catalogue prices from a connected supplier can fill RRP where available.

You save the parts you use with their prices; where a supplier catalogue is connected, its retail price can prefill RRP. There is no live ordering integration.
