Mech Central for mechanics · Gold Coast
Workshop management software for Gold Coast mechanics
Log book services, brakes, timing belts and the odd head gasket — a general workshop runs on repeat customers. Mech Central books the car in, quotes it with your labour rates and parts RRP, invoices it with the rego and odometer on the page, and texts the owner when the next service is due.

Mechanics in Gold Coast
Gold Coast workshops — the Burleigh Heads industrial estate, Molendinar, Nerang, Arundel — deal with a transient population and a lot of first-time customers. A public booking page that shows your services and prices, and a first invoice that looks professional with the before-and-after photos on it, turns a walk-in into a return visit.
Built for workshops in Burleigh Heads, Molendinar, Nerang, Southport, Arundel, Currumbin, Helensvale and across Gold Coast.
Sound familiar?
Cars you serviced once and never saw again because nobody sent a reminder
Invoices written up at night from a greasy job card, days after the car left
Quoting parts from memory and finding out the supplier price moved
How Mech Central fixes it
Log book menu that chains itself
Invoice the 10,000 km service and the 20,000 km one is automatically due in six months. The standard Australian menu is seeded on day one, priced ex-GST so the customer sees the number you advertise.
Rego and odometer on every document
Quotes and invoices carry the vehicle description, rego and the odometer reading at the time — a point-in-time record the customer keeps and you can stand behind.
Reminders by SMS and email
Set the interval and lead time once. Reminders go out on schedule with a reply-STOP that actually works, and you can fire one manually from the car's Up Next list.
Parts memory that learns your shorthand
Type '5-30' and get 5W-30. Save a part against an engine code and it comes up first next time that engine is on the hoist — never hidden, just demoted for the wrong car.
The moment it pays for itself
Six months after a service, a text goes out with the car's rego in it. The owner replies 'book me in'. That is the whole business model of a general workshop, automated.
Questions mechanics ask
Is Mech Central the same as TradeCentral?
Same Australian platform, same company, same price. Mech Central is the workshop-only front door: every account created here is a mechanic account, with vehicles, rego search, service reminders and inspections switched on from the start. One login works on both sites.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The first month is free with the whole app included. After that it is $49.99 a month for the whole workshop, paid by bank transfer, and you can stop any time.
Does it send SMS reminders?
Yes. Reminders go by email by default and by SMS once you switch texting on in Settings. Every text ends with 'Reply STOP to opt out', and a STOP reply is honoured across every record holding that number.
Can my staff log in?
Yes — unlimited logins at no extra cost. You choose which accounts can see prices, profit and revenue.

Free for a month
Put one mechanic job through it.
Set-up takes about two minutes. Book a car, quote it, photograph it, invoice it and let the reminder bring it back. The first month is free, so it costs nothing to find out.
