Mech Central for performance and tuning workshops · Newcastle
Performance workshop software for Newcastle performance and tuning workshops
Builds run for weeks, parts arrive in stages and the customer wants to see progress. Mech Central keeps the whole build on the vehicle's profile — staged quotes, approved extras, photos at each step — and invoices it in parts without losing the thread.

Performance and tuning workshops in Newcastle
Between Cardiff, Broadmeadow and the Hunter's growth corridor out to Maitland and Rutherford, Newcastle workshops see everything from mine-site utes to first cars. Different jobs, same admin: book it, quote it, photograph it, invoice it, remind them. One place for all of it beats a diary, a spreadsheet and a pad of invoice books.
Built for workshops in Cardiff, Warners Bay, Mayfield, Broadmeadow, Charlestown, Maitland, Rutherford and across Newcastle.
Sound familiar?
Build customers who message for updates every second day
Extras agreed over the phone and forgotten by final invoice
Parts margin invisible when the customer supplies half the bits
How Mech Central fixes it
The vehicle is the project file
Every quote, invoice, inspection, photo and watch item for the car sits on its profile. Open the car and you have the build's whole history in one place.
Approvals in writing
Each extra goes out as an approval the customer accepts from a secure link. Nothing lands on the final invoice that was not agreed on the record.
RRP and profit you can see
Cost and RRP on every part, with profit on parts shown only to you in the editor. Customer-supplied parts sit on their own lines at zero.
Progress photos the customer can see
Tick the shots you want the customer to see and they show on the invoice page. Fewer 'any update?' messages, more 'looks great'.
The moment it pays for itself
Stage two is done. The customer opens the invoice link, sees the photos, the approved extras and the parts itemised with RRP, and pays it that night — then books stage three.
Questions performance and tuning workshops ask
Is Mech Central the same as TradeCentral?
Same Australian platform, same company, same price. Mech Central is the workshop-only front door: every account created here is a mechanic account, with vehicles, rego search, service reminders and inspections switched on from the start. One login works on both sites.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The first month is free with the whole app included. After that it is $49.99 a month for the whole workshop, paid by bank transfer, and you can stop any time.
Does it send SMS reminders?
Yes. Reminders go by email by default and by SMS once you switch texting on in Settings. Every text ends with 'Reply STOP to opt out', and a STOP reply is honoured across every record holding that number.
Can my staff log in?
Yes — unlimited logins at no extra cost. You choose which accounts can see prices, profit and revenue.

Free for a month
Put one performance and tuning workshop job through it.
Set-up takes about two minutes. Book a car, quote it, photograph it, invoice it and let the reminder bring it back. The first month is free, so it costs nothing to find out.
